Five months in lockdown, how does it feel like? Mine’s a rollercoaster ride of emotions but oh well, here’s another Sunday Currently.
nothing. My Aunt bought me Colleen Hoover books for my birthday two weeks back and I’ve finished all of them already. All Your Perfect’s a 4 out of 5, Maybe Someday’s a 2.5, and Slammed is a 3.
Girl from Nowhere but I only watch it when my friends in PH are available. I’ve also mentioned on my previous Sunday Currentlys that I was watching Dark, Uncontrollably Fond, and When The Camellia Blooms. Update: I’ve finished them all and I might watch either Itaewon Class or Reply 1988 next.
Dark is… well, dark. I mostly don’t understand what the f*ck is happening but damn, do I love it. Uncontrollably Fond is heavy and just okay for me. Wish they didn’t have to drag the series though as they can fit the story in 16 episodes only. Camellia is beautiful. Teared up a bit on the last episode.
Oh. And I also finished the movie Other Day earlier starring Anne Hathaway and Jim Sturgess. It’s sad. Jim’s super handsome in this film but it’s sad.
to the new playlist I made last night. If you’re into acoustics, check it out!
about my orders online. Let me tell you a secret. I’ve been planning to have a cute small business and my mind’s just into it lately. I thought about it two weeks ago, was thinking about it for days, when I finally decided to give in and just give it a shot. My only problem was that all materials cost extra expensive here. An item that costs 4 AED in PH is sold at 44 AED in the UAE. Crazy.
Long story short, I know someone coming to UAE from PH so I had some things delivered to her. Some lang. I didn’t buy all the items I needed ’cause.. em shy… Hahaha. Basta for starters lang ‘yung pinadala ko, ganon. Now there’s this one item and it’s the second most important of them all. Surprise, it’s not yet shipped! I was informed that it will come before August 5 but it’s already August 2 and the item’s coming from China. The person I know is leaving PH by August 6. What the hell do I do now?
to find someone else who’s coming to UAE from the Philippines ’cause I need my materials. :c
for everything to be normal soon. Traveling to Abu Dhabi emirate has been restricted since May, and the government required commuters to show proof of negative COVID-19 status before allowing them in. It’s a really smart move and the last I heard was that Abu Dhabi has the least COVID cases in the Emirates now. Most hospitals are even COVID-free.
to have Il Forno pasta! I’ve been craving for so long but this can wait. I can order online but the pasta costs 5 AED more excluding the delivery fee and you know I won’t buy that. Hello, wat diz I know my prices, I’m your loyal customer.
a job. Like for real. It’s been almost five months and my savings are dying. Patting myself on the back for being a good saver, tho.
hungry. It’s thirty minutes past 7 and I need to decide what to eat for dinner. I might have the leftover shrimp sinigang or I’ll just fry scrambled eggs with cheese.
my life a little bit more each day. The past week has been rough but gradually, things got better.
Stop pressuring yourself, kids. Here’s to a better month ahead.
