Welcome, welcome! My trip to Vegas was unforgettable not because I gambled (I didn’t, I was not on legal age), but this was where I lost my bag. It was actually Abbey’s bag but has my things inside it.
To be honest, I really didn’t enjoy Vegas that much. Maybe because I’m 18 and I don’t have the rights to buy drinks and gamble. Haha. Yes, it’s also where a lot of brand outlets are but people close to me know how thrift I am when it comes to money. I only spend when I really need it and even if I make my own money already, I still don’t like to shop much because I know how hard it is to earn it.
(Fun fact: there are still a lot of pocket money left from the money that I brought from the Philippines three months ago. That’s how thrift I am.)
One of the things I’m actually going to miss in America is that I can wear whatever I like and not be judged by a lot of people. Wear those kinds of clothes in Pinas and you’ll be surprised by how a lot of judgmental eyes follow you while on the road.
We only spent a night in Vegas and from this point, I’m already apologizing to you, guys, ’cause the Las Vegas photos from my Hero4 isn’t good. GoPros’ are really hard to use when it comes to low light.
I now understand why they call Las Vegas the Sin City. You’ll find temptations everywhere you look; be it casinos, brand outlets or restaurants. I was also kind of sad ’cause I really wanted to try Vegas’ extreme rides but we didn’t have much time.
Of course, you wouldn’t want to miss the chance to have the photo on their famous “Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Nevada” sign! It’s literally at the middle of the highway and lines’ are actually pretty long in this attraction. If you’re the impatient one, be sure to go there at “patay na oras” time so you won’t have to wait.
Vegas was fun. It’s alive, and you can feel it right through you. I think I’ll enjoy it more when I’m of legal age already. I’ll be back soon, Fabulous Las Vegas. Wait for me.
